
Expecting a fast transfer rate from Bluetooth device? The wait is coming to end. The Bluetooth SIG officially announced its new Bluetooth 3.0+HS specification, otherwise known as Bluetooth High Speed Technology. The new spec adds the ability to switch over to an 802.11 radio for fast data transfer speeds. It is completely backwards compatible with older Bluetooth devices, and still uses the same protocols for establishing connections. But if two devices support the 3.0+HS spec and have an 802.11 capable radio, then it will be utilized for large data transfers.

The N810 features an integrated GPS receiver, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, full touch screen based browser with desktop-like experience, built-in FM transmitter, and a light-sensing screen dimmer. Motorola has launched the new headset which supports Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology, the 32g Bluetooth stereo headset S9, in Korea. With stable behind-the-head style, the S9 lets you switch from music to calls with the press of a button. It features an integrated and touch-sensitive controls, the S9 is water and sweat resistant, which is nice for wearing in any weather.

After the release of DNSe 2.0 (Digital Natural Sound Engine), Samsung has now released its Bluetooth video MP3 ‘YP-P2′ in Korea. This YP-P2 adopts an all-touch interface called ‘EmoTureTM UI‘ with 16:9 aspect ratio in 3-inch widescreen, which only 9.9mm thickness and 85g. It supports video playback and Bluetooth 2.0. Offering 35 hours of music and 5 hours of video from one charge, it is available in three colors including black, white and red wine colors. With this launch, Samsung offers 16:9 widescreen content via Samsung Media Studio(www.yepp.co.kr).

Nokia has announced a new pair of bluetooth headset, Nokia BH-903 (pictured above) and BH-902 (pictured after). The BH-903 with 23-gram brings an OLED display and support for A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, HFP and HSP Bluetooth profiles. It’ll be good for 15 hours of talk/music when it hits globally in Q4 for ?200/$274. The 18.2-grams BH-902 then, brings the same display without the dongle and stereo remote capabilities for an all-in-one, on-the-ear solution last for 8-hour. Just be sure to take advantage of the neckstrap and clip to make that display useful ya hear? The BH-902 ships in Q4 as well for an estimated ?115/$157 (pre-tax).
