Samsung just got official with its newest EcoGreen HDD, the 1.5TB and 2TB F3EG. Well, it can say that Samsung has expanded their offer of the new eco HDD drive. The new product is said to be a most environmentally-friendly device of this type. The drive has enough storage capacity for 500,000 MP3 songs or 880 hours of DVD video.

Compared to competition, the EcoGreen F3EG uses 10 percent less energy in stand-by mode and 10 percent less during work. The device was based on EcoTriangle technology. SilentSeek and NoiseGuard technologies are responsible for its quiet operating mode. The device comes with a USB 3.0 interface and 16MB/32MB buffer memory.
