
A Taiwan-based IPC maker Nexcom has unveiled its new tablet PC based on Intel Atom processor with smaller and lighter design, the Nexcom MTC 2100 tablet PC. It features a 8.4-inch Sunlight Readable touch screen, integrated 1.3-megapixel camera, SiRF III GPS module, laser barcode scanner, Infineon TPM 1.2 and fingerprint recognition, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, support 3.5G or WIMAX module. And it runs on Windows Vista operating system.

Toshiba has unveiled a new tablet PC featuring 12-inch touch screen LCD backlit display, the Portégé M700 Series. Designed for on-the-go professionals, it is powered by Intel Santa Rosa platform. The firm claims that the laptop easily detects the presence of a digital pen or a user?s fingertip and automatically switches between the different input methods.
